Circuit Dancer, Nashaab, Digital, Marshman and Flying Express will all have their supporters but our vote goes to Boston Lodge. The selection does not win too often these days but looked to be on the way back when an unlucky-in-running effort at Goodwood last time when fitted with a first-time visor. Given that he has gone well here before, will act on the going and has actually been competing recently in some very valuable races, then his chance at this type of level is there for all to see. Circuit Dancer likes it here but all of his wins so far have come at five or six furlongs on good or quicker going, although he does appear to act on going with ease in it. Others to consider are Marshman, as the handicapper is starting to relent with him now and he caught the eye with late headway at Newbury last time, Nashaab, who broke a long losing run recently, and Digital, who is six pounds better off for the six lengths he finished behind the selection at Goodwood last time. Overall, though, we will just side with Boston Lodge.
