      Verdict

Ian Williams seems to have got a handle on his new inmate HALIPHON (NAP) as he scored at York last time and went close in today’s higher grade at Epsom before that. He looks worth sticking with and is preferred to stablemate Alfred Boucher, who placed over 2m here last month. Jim Goldie also runs two but Euchen Glen has yet to win a handicap off this high a mark and Sir Chauvelin is upped in class. Enfranchise ran well in the Old Newton Cup at Haydock last time but Star Caliber makes a belated seasonal debut while both Haseefah and Parachute have something to prove at this higher level.
