      Verdict

      Tom Dascombe’s juveniles are always to be feared around here and he runs two in this. Drogon won over this trip at Haydock before finding himself outclassed in the Vintage Stakes at Goodwood. He’ll be fancied to get back on track here but any market interest in the stable’s Sea The Stars newcomer Navigate By Stars would also be significant. She’s a sister to three winners and could be a bargain buy at €35,000. MORDRED was placed in his first two starts and finished ahead of Drogon on worse terms at Goodwood. Richard Hannon’s colt can open his account today.
