Richard Hannon's Magical Star is surely better than she showed on her debut at Bath but she is hard to back with any confidence after that run and a better bet looks to be MILLYLUVSTOBOUGGIE, who gets the vote over King Of Cassis. Bill Turner's colt ran promisingly on his Bath debut behind Fifth Ave and again at Brighton last time so he has to be respected and looks the clear pick of the trainer's two runners in the race ahead of Lord Of The Storm. Andrew Balding's Rojo Boy improved for his debut outing at Newbury when running better at York last time and there should be more to come from the son of Red Ransom but he may struggle to give weight away all round. Ralph Beckett's Intikhab gelding, Malice Or Mischief, could be of interest on his first start, while any market support for Temptingfaith would have to be noted. There are several unexposed runners in the field for this maiden auction race but it is hard to get away from Millyluvstobouggie, who made a pleasing debut for Clive Cox when finding Masaya just a nose too good at Windsor last week and she can go one better today.
