Offyoupop was third of five on his bumper debut in January but has been given plenty of time by Paul Nicholls and is a leading contender now his attentions are turned to hurdles. Young Butler has shaped well on both starts - at Newbury in a bumper and over timber at Chepstow - and will probably go off favourite but ICEBURGH BAY created a healthy impression when landing a point-to-point at Ballingarry in May and is fancied to go well on his hurdling bow for the Hobbs team. It's quite an interesting maiden hurdle as the likes of Ballygoe, Come On Gruff and Last Quarter have all shown enough to indicate they have a future at the game.
