Verdict
A tricky race to fathom despite the lack of numbers as both Hidden Weapon and Mr Banker have yet to show their worth in public and could easily make an impact at the first time of asking in this company. However, it pays to side with experience in events of this nature and Macsnappy is given a confident vote to get the better of Poynton Henry and Annie Dipper, who are the only other runners in the line up with experience of regulation fences. Whereas Lucky Sinna has the shape of a chaser and it will be no surprise to see Brendan Powell's charge take them all on for the lead now that he enters this sphere for the first time. However, there is little to split him and the selection on hurdles ratings so he may be best watched today. Which brings us back to Macsnappy, who will be suited by the slight drop in trip today. The son of Risk Me appears to be better when he can race up with the pace so the lack of numbers should aid him if he bids to assert himself on the field at an early stage. Macsnappy will never be reach the top of the tree in this sphere but he can at least revel in his position as the one to be on here.
