Prince Afram can break his duck in this weak maiden, with Make Amends and No Wonga likely to give him most to think about. The selection was a decent second to Internationaldebut over 6f last time, a race that came after an 11-month break. The step up to this extra furlong should suit the Fraam colt, who goes on decent ground, and can see off this ordinary lot. Make Amends was unfancied on debut and ran as such at Salisbury, but the experience will have done her good. Trip and ground should suit her and with Ron Hodges¿ yard going well a much better run is anticipated. No Wonga has been tried over both 10f and a mile without showing a huge amount so far, but this 7f might help elicit some improvement, though handicapping looks likely to be his bag. Ink Stone has a good pedigree and should be suited by this sort of trip for his racecourse debut, and money for him would be interesting. Petroglyph clearly needed the outing last time following a lengthy absence, but the fact that connections persevere is heartening, while Bluebird Chariot is another who will probably be worth keeping more of an eye on when the assessor has made his initial judgement. Prince Afram can get off the mark
