      Verdict

In what looks a tricky seller, we'll opt for Alfy Rich, with Awesome Wells, Monsal Dale and Forest Green Flyer among others to consider. Tony McCoy is an eye-catching booking for the selection, whose sixth behind Speed Venture at Bangor last time suggesting he is set to run a good race today. Awesome Wells was well-backed last time he ran but disappointed so connections could well be on a retrieving mission and he is only five pounds higher than for his latest winning mark. And Richard Johnson is an interesting booking for Monsal Dale, who has at least proven he can win a race. Tam O'Shanter and Brooksie are well-handicapped on form of three and two years ago, respectively, and Forest Green Flyer is now back on a winning mark and cheekpieces seemed to bring about some improvement last time. He could well in what, as we say, is a fairly tricky event. Once again, though, the selection is Alfy Rich.
