Verdict

Western Climate has won twice at Warwick in the last 12 months and stays further than this. Despite a 6lb rise, he’s not badly treated on past form but HOLDBACKTHERIVER (NAP) landed this prize 12 months ago and is only a pound higher, despite an improved showing at Exeter a couple of months ago when he was beaten under four lengths. Alminar, a winner here last season, has placed at Cheltenham and Kelso this term and shouldn’t be far away but the others all have a bit to prove on recent form.
