The return to action and chasing debut of 2014 World Hurdle hero MORE OF THAT has been eagerly awaited. Jonjo O'Neill's seven year old has not been seen since a poor run in the Long Distance Hurdle at Newbury last November and hasn't been found an easy start to his new career but his class can see him through before heading for better things. Dell' Arca was a smart hurdler who did not win often enough but made an impressive start over fences at Uttoxeter where he defied a last fence error to gain a comfortable victory. As De Mee, a Grade 3 winning hurdler, made a satisfactory start over fences when chasing home Cocktails At Dawn at Chepstow and will have come on a bundle for the experience while Might Bite would not have been thrust into this sort of class without good reason after just two winning runs over hurdles, the latest of them on this track. Ballyalton is by no means out of this having finished runner up to Faugheen at last year's Festival before blundering and unseating his rider at the third last on his reappearance after a very long break at Warwick last week.
Dell' Arca (IRE) 8-11fav (10-12) Tracked leaders, went 2nd 5th, ridden after 3 out, challenged last, soon led, stayed on clear towards finish, won at Uttoxeter 2m 4f (3) gd in May beating Germany Calling (11-4) by 6l, 7 ran.
As De Mee (FR) 3-1fav (11-4) Tracked winner, not fluent 7th, driven after 3 out, no impression from next, stayed on, 2nd of 7, 3l behind Cocktails At Dawn (11-12) at Chepstow 2m 3f (2) gd in Oct.
Ballyalton (IRE) 5-2fav (11-1) Held up in touch, niggled along after 5th, closed 8th, about 3 lengths 3rd when mistake (virtually fell) and unseated rider 3 out, at Warwick 2m (3) gs in Nov.
Double Shuffle (IRE) 20-1 (11-3) Tracked leader, led 3rd, headed before last, kept on, 2nd of 5, 8l behind Art Mauresque (11-11) at Cheltenham 2m 4f (2) gs in Oct.
Might Bite (IRE) 10-11fav (11-4) Tracked leading pair, challenged between last 2, led approaching last, ridden when edged right and idled flat, headed narrowly towards rear, pushed out to regain lead close home, won at Cheltenham 2m 4f (2) gd in Apr beating Souriyan (10-11) by 1l, 5 ran.
More Of That (IRE) 4-7fav (11-8) Tracked leader, hit 7th and 4 out, pushed along before 3 out, no real impression 2 out, dropped to 3rd between last 2, beaten when mistake last, eased run-in, 3rd of 6, 25l behind Medinas (11-0) at Newbury 3m (1) sft in Nov.
The Society Man (IRE) 5-1 (10-12) With leader, weakened from 5 out, 5th of 7, 35 1/4l behind Teochew (11-12) at Sedgefield 3m 2f hcp (4) sft in Oct.
