Verdict

Plenty of Irish interest in this with Elle Perfecta seeking a third win in four starts and Alvaro and Unanswered, who has been going well on the Flat, propping up the handicap. Time Flies By only won a maiden at Fontwell last month with Nico de Boinville preferring the returning Wiseguy. Getalead is on a hat-trick while Guernesey makes a quick reappearance after unseating Jack Martin at Sandown last Sunday. MAHONS GLORY showed promise in Ireland last season and made a winning start for Richard Newland at Aintree. He was raised 9lb for that but there should be more to come over this sort of trip. Forever William doesn’t look an easy ride but was staying behind the well-treated Sonigino over 2m at Newbury.
