In depth

Verdict

All three step up in distance for this. Golden Flame landed the odds in a maiden at Bath with the minimum of fuss having earlier finished second to a winner from the Gosden yard. The latter is represented by PIED PIPER, who also won a maiden when successful over 1m2f at Newmarket in October with a subsequent winner back in third and should show further progress this term having been gelded. Local Law has also been gelded since last year and is fitted with headgear on his return.
