        Verdict

        GHAZIYAH was having her first start since October when making a winning reappearance at Thirsk. It’s reasonable to expect further progress here and she gets the vote to defy a penalty given the main danger, Maximum Effect, is making her seasonal debut. The latter finished third over 7f at Lingfield at the end of last year and is preferred to Rudy Lewis, who showed some improvement at Thirsk last month without threatening the winner. Harbour City and Knockacullion hail from winning families in North America with the former preferred representing James Tate’s in-form yard.
