    Verdict

Jack The Truth was winning here for the fourth time when scoring by a neck last month and should be in the mix again. He makes more appeal than Southwell winner Rock Sound, who was beaten by Nigel Nott over 6f here in October. But the latter subsequently found ROYAL BIRTH too good over today’s trip at Lingfield and Stuart Williams’ charge failed to get a clear run before finishing with a late flourish at the latter track a week ago - he can return to winning ways in this less competitive sprint. Capla Spirit is upped in class while both Mokaatil and Green Power return from lay-offs with the former winning at Nottingham when last in action.
