      Verdict

      PEARL NATION returned to action with a disappointing second when odds-on in a seller at Southwell last week. He’ll be sharper here and should make amends if running anywhere near a mark of 92. There was little between Junoesque and Mutineer when they filled the places in a claimer at Lingfield last month but Tadaany and Intermodal were both well beaten in plating races on their respective latest starts. Titan Goddess won a handicap over track and trip in October but Black Dave has plenty to find on these terms.
