Idder made it third-time lucky over hurdles at Musselburgh, when Desert Point was fourth, and that display warrants this step up in grade. He should cope with a penalty but probably has a bit to find on the form book with CRACKING FIND. Sue Smith’s charge has been quite highly tried since scoring at Uttoxeter in the autumn and may get his own way out in front today. Floramoss travelled strongly for a long way on her debut over timber at Hexham and wasn’t given a hard time once the winner had flown. She should be winning soon, though may be suited by slightly quicker going. Test Pilot is also unexposed and worth market check.
