Verdict

Torta Nel Cio belied his inexperience to land a Kelso maiden in game style and looks certain to make further progress. Of Course has only won once over hurdles but is very consistent and should give another good account. Calypso Boy is only four but showed real maturity to easily beat the in-form Panzer at Fontwell last month. However, the handicapper has reacted by putting him up a massive 18lb which will probably prevent a follow up. BARDOLET hasn't had much experience and there was much to like about his victory over today's trip at Carlisle in October. That was his first start over this kind of distance and a 6lb rise doesn't look enough to stop him winning again. Wor Rom is an improving type who can go well and Solway Bee is just 3lb higher than when successful over the trip at Ayr in March.
