Not a race that will take much winning and the vote goes to Espresso Time while Ryan's Future, La Corujera and Winthorpe are others worthy of note. Sean Keightley's charge has struggled a little in the face of some stiffish handicap marks but showed a race of this nature is within his scope when a close second off a mark of 65 in a competitive heat at Salisbury last month. A reproduction of the form may prove good enough in a race that lacks strength in depth. Ryan's Future represents a yard in good form at present and is entitled to improve on his unplaced debut effort at Windsor last month while Winthorpe has strong claims on his latest close second in a similar event at Ripon last month. La Corujera is well treated on official BHB ratings and won't be far away on the strength of some respectable performances in handicaps of late, while the booking of Darryll Holland could prove significant.
