A typically competitive opener and we will put up Dee Jay Wells at the principal expense of Sun Quest and Mujahaz. The selection finished third in a similar contest at the track in May on ground that was probably a little bit lively for him on balance. He didn't run at all badly at Perth in June when tried under aggressive tactics and those could work the oracle here today. Sun Quest finished behind our selection in the aforementioned May race. He got worried out of it by Bedizen in a Stratford seller and a repeat of this line of form should see him in the shake up. Mujahaz was a winner on the level for John Dunlop. He has proved expensive to follow but connections have persevered with him after initial failure in this discipline. Peak Seasons is a consistent sort around Cartmel. He did go up a fair bit for his July success but course form counts for plenty around here. Wicklow Wanderer can race a little too keenly. Ex-Howard Johnson inmate White Lightening continues in the blinkers. Royal Game can be forgiven his latest effort as his saddle slipped. Maneki Neko is capable but is out of form. A competitive opener typical of Cartmel and we are with Dee Jay Wells.
