The superbly-bred Nimr is related to a host of useful performers, including Group 3 winner Gothic, but will surely need further than this. Richard Fahey also runs the improving Early Bird while Cheeky Angel is by the same sire as Michael Dods' stable star Mecca's Angel and should also win races. But we'll stick with the experience of FATHERLY FRIEND, who was slowly away and then met trouble in-running when a beaten favourite on his debut at Haydock. He'd obviously been showing plenty beforehand and can recoup losses.
