Verdict

TOMMY’S OSCAR beat the previous Grade 2 winner Boothill when landing a similar contest at Doncaster and should have the measure of Baron De Midleton back in a handicap. The latter returned to winning ways at Newcastle on his first outing after wind surgery but Captain Zebo arrives out of sorts and makes a belated debut over fences.
