Arnprior makes her handicap debut today and doesn't look badly treated, she can take this modest event from Alexander Capetown and Bond Finesse. Mark Johnston's filly ran too badly to be true last time when tailed off in the race won by Curtain Bluff. She is much better judged on her previous second to Welsh Touch at Redcar. There were some decent enough types behind on that occasion and taking that form literally she looks well in today. Alexander Capetown is still a maiden but has put in some good performances in defeat, including a three length third to Conjecture at Musselburgh. A repeat of that effort should see her there or thereabouts. Bond Finesse landed a modest Redcar event last month and wasn't disgraced in better company last time. With just eight stone eight in the plate this afternoon she should go close. First Rhapsody appears to be coming to hand and looks the pick of the remainder, but on this occasion we will give the vote to Arnprior.
