      Verdict

      Question Of Faith won over 2m at Catterick a fortnight ago and an apprentice’s allowance negates a rise in the weights. Tectonic had been thereabouts over further before disappointing over today’s trip at Musselburgh while Jan Smuts was placed over track and trip back in July but would prefer faster ground. Princess Nearco has a shout stepping up in distance but so does Sir Mark Prescott’s STARSHELL, placed over 1m4f in all three outings so far this year with improvement expected for this greater test of stamina.
