        Verdict

        Jullundar was beaten only a nose on his racecourse debut at Chepstow and should be winning before long on that evidence. Newcastle runner-up Khelac is another to consider as he looks sure to appreciate today's extra furlong but the vote goes to VAN PERCY. Andrew Balding's colt lost out by a short-head when starting favourite and finishing runner-up at Epsom last time but he was five lengths clear of the third and can make amends in this. Sir Mark Prescott runs Big Thunder but he's got plenty to find along with Tribal Path although newcomer Allnecessaryforce is related to a winner and worth a second glance in the betting.
