This rates a punting minefield with nothing ruled out with any real confidence but it might be worth giving WHITEANDGOLD another chance. Bryan Smart does exceptionally well with sprinters and the yard could not be in better form at present so the daughter of Major Cadeaux is given the vote in the hope she will not repeat the pre-race problems seen last time at Ripon after which she had little chance. She's been given a considerable break since and can hopefully return to the progressive form of her three previous starts. Richard Fahey causes punters problems by fielding a trio of entries, of which Champion Harbour looks the most appealing on form. Mutahaady, Dark Hero and Mr Strutter are other possibilities in a wide-open contest.
