BLAKE DEAN has done well this season and, though raised a further 7lb since finishing second to The Clock Leary at Catterick, is probably the one to beat again. Hallmark Star was second over this track and trip last month and looks a danger while A P McCoy rides Allied Answer for Steve Gollings. The top weight won a handicap at Wetherby before struggling under a penalty back in novice company at Doncaster last time. Garde Ville is in his first handicap but the four-year-old looks to have a bit to find at the weights and likewise Just Cameron.
