Verdict
Gullane One is 7lb lower than his last winning mark but was only fifth when favourite at Ripon last month and USTATH makes more appeal. He was only beaten a nose in that Ripon race and has since run well in this grade at Doncaster – fast ground is ideal. The maiden Gold Zabeel and Lincoln Gamble are both making their seasonal reappearances but are only four-year-olds so may have more scope than most.
