It often pays to side with riders as opposed to horses in these types of races so, with that in mind, we'll offer up Great View as the selection over Banningham Blaze and Short Change, with Joely Green another that could also run well at a venue he likes. The Carol Williams-ridden selection has proven he acts here and comes here in good heart following a win and then a fair second to easy winner Cristoforo (who ran at Leicester on Saturday) last time. The Sarah Bosley-ridden Short Change is often the bridesmaid but has acted here in the past and is on a reasonable mark. That last comment also applies to the Emily Jones-ridden Banningham Blaze, a winner in this month last year and a horse that should handle this track. Of the others, Joely Green is a course and distance winner who is certainly back on a winning mark, and Intensity comes here in good heart following a good Nottingham run. This list of possibles is by no means all-inclusive but, overall, we like the look of Great View.
