Verdict
King Joshua has the highest BHB rating of these but there are plenty of less exposed rivals in opposition to Gerard Butler's colt and preference is for Hunting Tower, who gets the vote ahead of Jawaab. The last mentioned clearly has ability but is, like King Joshua, becoming expensive to follow so may be best watched. Sir Michael Stoute's Arabian Word stepped up on the form of his debut effort over seven furlongs at Warwick last time and may do better over this longer trip today but he may be booked for a place at best, while Postsprofit may want a soft surface and more time. Mark Johnston's My Super Bird has shown signs of ability in two starts previously and is another worthy of a mention but preference is for Hunting Tower. Richard Hannon's well-related colt should improve sufficiently for the step up to a mile to fulfill earlier promise over inadequate trips.
