Verdict
Bienheureux can follow up at the expense of Caucasienne and Turner's Touch. Bienheureux was successful over the course-and-distance just over a fortnight ago when given a good ride by Jerry O'Dwyer to get up despite idling. He lines up on a slightly higher mark here, but that is offset by the claim of the up-and-coming William Buick, and in a race that should take little winning, Gay Kelleway's charge can follow up, with conditions in his favour. Caucasienne seemed to prefer softer ground when trained in France, but shaped well on fast ground at Folkestone last time when third to Himba. In truth he did not see out the near two-mile trip that day, and can benefit from this drop back in distance as he bids to get the losses back. Turner's Touch has not fared well on his few tries on these type of tracks, showing his best form on the all-weather, but he still makes most appeal of the remainder. Bienheureux is the one to beat.
