      Verdict

      Veteran Peter Island will probably try and make all again but another course specialist, WHITECREST, can cut him down in the closing stages. John Spearing's mare came right back to form at Lingfield and Gary Mahon's claim takes care of her penalty. Archie Stevens is also penalised but only won an all-weather claimer last week. Pucon is more interesting as he's dropped 5lb since last running on Turf and has won off a higher mark on Polytrack. Triple Dream remains hard to place and isn't getting younger.
