Verdict
Despite a solid effort over this trip at Doncaster earlier in the month, Sualda, had previously been a hard horse to predict and he is passed over in favour of Comtesse Noir today. Ipleadgeallegiance has been kept busy of late but is a frustrating horse to follow, so Red River Rebel may give the selection the most to do. However, Comtesse Noir has hinted that her turn is not too far away of late and she will be ideally suited by this step up in trip here. The fact that she is still a maiden after 23 previous starts does temper the confidence a little, but she is better than her form figures would suggest and today could finally be her day.
