Nonrunner
Cherri Fosfate was a runner-up when last seen over this trip at Wolverhampton. The winner of that race has since gone on to score again earlier this week and although Declan Carroll's runner has patchy form if he puts all the pieces together he could be one for the places. Highland Love likes the track having won here in June and Eleanor McGowan takes 5lbs off his back to put him at a comparable mark to that last winning run. Kiama Bay hasn't been seen for more than a year but he was a winner before that absence and can't be ruled out despite a protracted break. AVITUS would prefer the ground to be quicker but he still showed the ability to handle good ground with a second last time out. The trip is ideal and he gets the call ahead of Tivers Song who is relatively unexposed on ground other than Good to Firm.
