Withering Lady is well exposed but holds very strong claims against this opposition, Colonial Girl and Hillside Heather may prove to be the main dangers. Nerys Dutfield's filly has taken on some top class performers on her last two outings. She finished runner-up to Right Answer at Salisbury before going down by just four lengths in the valuable sales race at Newbury won by Siena Gold. This represents a big drop in class and this speedy filly can gain an overdue success. Colonial Girl has yet to run a bad race this season and wasn't beaten far behind Catselletto at Ripon last time. Today's rival Hillside Heather was a couple of places in front that day but the selection ran too freely early on and with more restraint today should reverse the running. Withering Lady though does have a touch of class and should beat them both.
