Cartography looks the one that they all have to beat, especially with his high draw, and is the pick ahead of Reidies Choice and Ballykeating. Among Dreams would have been more fancied if not for her low draw on this first start for Jamie Osborne and we have no hesitation in nominating Cartography who takes a huge drop in class after finishing third in the Group 3 Sirenia Stakes at Ascot. Philip Robinson's manoeuvre in taking the son of Zafonic to the far rail probably cost him a few lengths on that occasion, but he was still only beaten just over two lengths by Pastoral Pursuits and has nothing to fear from today's rivals. Described as hyper by Michael Jarvis after scoring on his Doncaster debut, Cartography rates a solid bet from stall seven. Reidies Choice has been fairly highly tried since making a winning start at Kempton but will find the selection tough as well, while Ballykeating likewise has taken on decent opposition in the Gimcrack and the St Leger Yearling Stakes. He can bounce back soon but all roads here surely lead to Cartography.
