Verdict
Beaumont Girl makes a swift reappearance and can follow up her Catterick victory at the expense of Satin Rose, Finnegans Rainbow and The Plainsman. Beaumont Girl was sent off fit and fancied at Catterick on Saturday and did not disappoint as she came late on the scene to collar Notte Italiana. The slight drop back in trip here should not present a problem and she is taken to fend off the challenge of Satin Rose to follow up. The latter lacked a gear when headed in the race won by Awaken at Redcar, and although the form has taken a knock, Tim Easterby's charge should at least be suited by the step back up in trip. Finnegans Rainbow was well held in fifth at Catterick last time but this easier task will help, while The Plainsman has been placed a couple of times in better company in the past and comes from a stable that does well with its small string. Beaumont Girl has obvious claims here and is the one that they all have to beat.
