Verdict

Bollin Ted has won four times around here but didn't run well in a similar race at Nottingham last time. The veteran Graceful Act won this under Serena Brotherton two years ago but the leading lady amateur is on board John Caesar this time. Her mount completed a double here in 2017 though both times on soft going. Jennies Gem went close here last time but is still a maiden after 16 starts so the vote goes to THORNTOUN CARE, who Amy Collier rode to victory at Haydock last month and again when fourth in a slightly better race at Pontefract last time when Quoteline Direct was behind.
