Verdict

Tim Easterby regularly picks up this prize and today's representative Mojolika won the 2011 renewal. The latter hasn't won on the Flat since then although he's been in good form over hurdles of late. Nashville could be more consistent but has a shout on his best form while Tartan Jura bounced back with a win at Catterick last time but a poor strike rate tempers enthusiasm for him. PLATINUM scored over 1m6f at Musselburgh in May and this looks less competitive. Today's longer trip is no problem and Philp Kirby's charge gets the vote with both Body Language and Up Ten Down Two remaining out of form.
