        Verdict

        Lord Riddiford made a very encouraging debut at Pontefract when staying on at the finish so today's stiff track should help. He's drawn on the outside, which won't help, but Spoof is nearer the rails and after making a bold bid to lead all at Windsor last week will take some catching. Go Now Go Now makes a quick reappearance after last week's run at Ayr which will have brought him on but PORCHY PARTY may just have his measure. Tom Dascombe's colt came here for a maiden a fortnight ago and didn't attract much attention but he stayed on nicely once getting the hang of the job and can make that experience count. The Right Choice is a speedily-bred son of Choisir and Paul Hanagan's presence suggests he could make good use of a low draw.
