SIRPERTAN has been upped 6lb for his win at Newcastle a fortnight ago. But he had Bentons Lad back in fifth and this doesn't look much tougher. Aldreth went close at Redcar last time but is an unknown quantity over this longer trip while Belle Peinture was still beaten six lengths when runner-up at Wolverhampton and has yet to race on Turf. Tortoise was placed on the all-weather early in the year but Dry Your Eyes could prove a bigger threat stepping up to middle-distances for her return to action.
