      Verdict

      A winner over 1m6f, ST MICHEL takes on older horses after finishing second in a Class 3 handicap. Like so many from his yard, Sir Mark Prescott’s colt will probably improve for this longer trip and is just preferred to Arrowtown. The latter went close over 1m4f at Doncaster recently while Tapis Libre is penalised for winning over the same trip at Epsom but has also scored over 2m before. Gabrial's Star should do better back on Turf today and winning hurdler Awaywiththegreys won a maiden race on the Flat at Haydock last term.
