Mark Johnston's Two Marks was found wanting in extreme conditions at Ayr last time but stayed on in the latter stages, so under less testing conditions and over this longer trip would be dangerous to write off just yet. More solid claims are held by Dalbair who races off the same mark as when third at Redcar last time. Kevin Darley is an interesting jockey booking for Jeremy Glover's three-year-old. Windsor winner Prins Willem and the lightly-raced Invitado are others to consider.
