Verdict

This looks wide open, and with none of the runners in the greatest of form, it's only tentatively we'll suggest it can go the way of KING'S NUT, who's preferred to Nut Hand and Addison de Witt. Gay Kelleway's gelding has been placed in last couple of runs, both of which were sellers; one over this trip and the other over a mile and a quarter. Both of those races have produced other winners. He's the most experienced, but like all the others here, has yet to win a race. Nut Hand has twice changed hands for decent money, but has yet to be placed in five runs. This is a step up in trip for Tim Easterby's gelding. Addison De Witt is preferred to the less exposed Goswick of Micky Hammond's two runners; his best effort to date came over this trip, when runner up in a similar contest at Pontefract. Haafhd Time looks the pick of Tom Dascombe's two runners, but neither she or Chic Shanique holds much appeal. Green Endeavour is Amanda Perrett's only runner on the card, and like several here is making his handicap debut. It's a poor contest, but we think it can go the way of King's Nut.
