        Verdict

        Elerfaan is very lightly raced for his age but won here last May. He was only beaten a neck at Chester last time and will be suited by a return to this very much stiffer track. LOVE DREAMS (NAP) has competed at a higher level all season and was only headed in the dying strides over the trip at Epsom last week. He's on the same mark and can return to winning ways. Zap won a very lucrative handicap at Leopardstown in September and has been keeping strong company since. He's been dropped 2lb despite a good run at York so has to be considered. Qaysar likes a stiff 7f which he'll get here and any further rain would greatly enhance his claims while Byron's Choice completed a hat-trick when scoring at this level at York last July and was returning from a very long break when last in a Class 2 handicap at Thirsk last month.
