ABILITY N DELIVER has two victories on Turf to his credit, both on this track, and he'll enjoy the conditions. He's also much better handicapped than on the all-weather and with Ross Coakley's claim a bonus he's handed the vote. Calm Bay doesn't win often and it's usually on fast going or Polytrack though he did have Moonbi Creek behind at Navan in June. His stablemate La Canaada appeared to enjoy stepping up to 7f at Sligo though she has plenty of pace while neither the lightly-raced Blueberry Gal nor Ayr runner-up Lady Ranger can be dismissed. Decision By One has his first run for new connections after arriving from the UK where he won five times including at Ffos Las in June.
