Verdict

Filament Of Gold won this last year, one of three victories on the track, but has never run on soft ground since his debut in 2013. Good Impression finally got off the mark at the 25th time of asking at Ffos Las while Hatsaway ran a bit better at Lingfield, though doesn't win often. CELTIC CLASSIC is running very well and scored on soft going at Lingfield in July. He's up 4lb for his Kempton victory but that shouldn't be a problem in this minor handicap. Butterfield was beaten in a Brighton seller and has changed stables but Givepeaceachance has generally been running well over shorter.
