Rosie Royale completed a hat-trick when scoring over the course and distance in 2016 but hasn’t won subsequently which is why she’s now much lower in the handicap. Singing The Blues is incredibly consistent and has won four times already this year though he’s looked a couple of pounds high the last twice. Tidal Wave has won two of his last three over hurdles and a mark of 71 could be underestimating his ability on the Flat so gets the nod to lose his maiden tag. Borak ran very well over hurdles at Aintree recently and is perfectly capable of carrying his big weight with distinction while the lightly-raced Enhanced was staying on over 1m4f at Doncaster on his handicap debut and has more scope than most of these.
