Typhoon Tilly has been off the course for a long time, but still appeals as the most likely winner of a very poor finale; of the remainder, only Benjamin and Giko make moderate appeal. The latter hasn't really achieved much since winning an amateurs handicap at Warwick early last month, but is only two pounds higher now and could possibly run into a place. Benjamin ran on well when third in a selling handicap at Warwick on the same day, and although he is unproven over this trip, if he stays he also has place claims. But the clear form pick here is top weight Typhoon Tilly. Charlie Egerton's mare has been off the course for nearly a year, but finished the last campaign with a third in the Czech St Leger, and before that had finished a close second to the useful Windermere at Newbury. This is a huge drop in class for her, so the lack of a run is the only doubt, but she ran well enough on her seasonal debut last year and she should have too much class for this opposition this evening.
