      Verdict

      The maiden Castaway Queen deserves to win a race and doesn't look badly treated here off this mark, as she was only just denied by a 75 rated rival last time, while Joint Statement comes here at the top of his form and he must go well under his penalty. The Handicapper looks to have the measure of Ballinger Ridge, who could probably do with a stiffer test. Common Thought will find this company more his level and is back on a mark he has won off. However, a chance is taken with Marjurita, who is unexposed over this trip. She comes here in good form and will not mind the fast ground.
