In depth

Verdict

BELVEDERE BLAST left his previous form behind when going close at Beverley last week in first-time cheekpieces. The headgear remains in place and Nigel Tinkler’s charge may prove well handicapped. Lisdarragh finished in front of Her Way when sent off favourite at Salisbury last time and headgear is applied to the latter while Lanika has been thereabouts over longer trips recently. Gavin and Night Eagle have scope for further progress with the former preferred.
